Robert, although specialising in British Syllabus is also qualified in American Latin and Ballroom. Robert has danced many shows and has been part of a Ballroom formation team. Robert is also qualified with ETA, Exercise Teachers Association.Robert also teaches Taiji, Traditional Kung Fu and is a Class C & Class B Certified National Competitive Tai-Chi Judge.

Robert only trains teachers, student teachers and open couples. His training as a Dancer started in 1987 as a teenager, started teaching in Matric and has studied British 10 Dance Latin & Ballroom, American Rhythm & Smooths 9 Dance syllabii, Ceccetti Classical Ballet, Modern Dancing and dabbled in Old Time Ballroom Dance and Sequence Formation Dancing. Robert's passion lies not in steps but in technical perfection. His motto: "Rather do 6 fantastic steps than 50 bad ones..."
