Dance Masters College DMC is a School based Educational Service offered to Adults and Teenagers of all ages. The college is a group of Highly experienced and Qualified teachers that teach and coach Latin American and Ballroom Dancing. The college offers 2 International syllabii, being the British 10 Dance and the American 9 Dance.

The British Ballroom is Closed Hold throughout and the American Ballroom has lots of open work with twirls and underarm spins etc.
The British Latin is Very varied and has a more modern look and feel, whereas the American Latin is more Traditional.

The college offers examinations and allows students to enter competitions.

The college caters for:

• Absolute Beginners (ages 8-80)
• Social Dancing (Just for Fun)
• Single Ladies/Gents (Pro-Am ie. student dances with a tutor in class)
• Advanced Couples
• Students of Dance Theory

This means if you are wanting to do any of the following, we can help:

• Learn to dance socially
• Perfect your dance steps you have learnt already
• Learn a dance for a wedding or special function
• Learn more to enter a competition
• Study the finer points of technique
• Study Dance Theory for Teaching

How do we do this:

• One on one teaching classes (your own teacher)
don't have to share your teacher with a group.
• Once a week classes
evening classes at 45 minutes each with your teacher
• In a fun, relaxed environment
good music, good teaching, at your own pace
so you can practice hard and learn as fast as want,
or you can take your time and study as slow as you want.

Our classes are NOT EXPENSIVE at all:

• Our standard fee is R 400 per month, per couple, for private lessons.
• for wedding couples R 600 for 4 lessons
we can keep the fees so low because we have many teachers and we have been going for such a long time.

Dance Masters College is currently only available in Durban and is divided into two specialist divisions. Both divisions are selfstanding and are financially separate from each other. This is an excellent way of operation as each division does not rely on the other to survive and thus operators of the divisions work very hard to look after students. Each division Specialises in either British or American syllabus, but both syllabii are taught by both divisions.

Dance Masters College is controlled by Governors.
